When Covid hit in the early spring, we all thought summer 2020 weddings might be a safe bet. As it got closer to summer and things were not looking up, wedding planner, Bekka of Sparks Events, wanted to give couples an option on how to pivot plans. Together with a group of amazing and talented vendors, we hoped to give couples one way to move forward with a backyard microwedding in a lovely Los Angeles home. Having a backyard wedding doesn’t mean it has to lack the “wow” factor that we all chase. Can’t have a getaway wedding in the desert? We brought a celestial desert wedding into an LA backyard.

With the celestial theme in mind, sun rays motifs to use throughout the invitation suite. The warm terra cotta palette was inspired by the desert vibes.
