High school sweethearts and filmmakers, Teryn and Brendan are a very special couple. Teryn was a former work colleague of mine–we both worked in the film industry together. When she approached me to design her wedding invitations, it was both an honor and joy to work with someone who also has a great sense of design.

Teryn and Brendan’s wedding vision incorporated the theme of “Bleecker Street,” a play on Brendan’s last name, Bleecker. Using this theme as inspiration, we incorporated a lamppost in their custom wedding invitations and added tropical leaves, which were inspired by their wedding venue, Millwick located in Los Angeles’s Art District.

These two picked a perfect and once in a lifetime date: 2-22-22. Seeing the wedding come together with a beautiful couple, gorgeous dresses, dapper groom and his party, and a ton of tropical greenery, this wedding was definitely front newsworthy!

For their wedding programs, they wanted to go with the digital route. I designed a “newspaper” notice available via QR code. Guests could scan the QR code and be taken to their newspaper theme program featuring the happy couple on the front page.
